Accessibility

This site should work for everyone who needs it. If it doesn’t, tell us.

What we aim for

This website was built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. In practice that means:

  • Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator.
  • Text meets contrast requirements against its background, and the layout reflows down to a 320 px viewport without horizontal scrolling.
  • Images carry alternative text, and decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
  • Form fields have real labels, errors are announced, and nothing depends on colour alone to convey meaning.
  • Motion is reduced automatically when your device asks for reduced motion.
  • Text can be enlarged to 200% without loss of content or function.

The patient forms

Our online patient forms were built with the same standards, and they include an option to type your signature rather than draw it, for anyone who cannot use a touch or pointer signature pad.

If filling the forms out online is not workable for you, you have two other options: download and print the packet from that page, or call the office and we will mail one to you or help you complete it over the phone.

Known limitations

  • Embedded maps are served by Google. We do not control the accessibility of that third-party map.

Tell us about a barrier

If something on this site blocks you, we want to hear about it and we will fix it. Call 636-333-2235 during business hours, or email weightloss@amwl.co. Please describe the page and what happened. Do not include medical details in an email.

We aim to respond within three business days.

In the office

For accessibility of the physical office at 4163 Crescent Dr., St. Louis, MO 63129, or to request an accommodation for a visit, call us ahead at 636-333-2235.

What have you got to lose — except the weight?

Call the office during business hours, or send a text any time — we pick messages up and get back to you.
